Longhand Division app for iPhone and iPad

Note: If you have an iPhone4 or iPhone5, please purchase Longhand Math instead of Longhand Division. Longhand Math performs long addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. You get the functionality of all four for the price of one, but it runs only on the iPhone4 and iPhone5.

Longhand Division divides two multi-digit numbers and shows the intermediate subtractions as you would divide two large numbers column-by-column using a pencil and paper. It will divide numbers that contain a decimal point. You may choose decimal division or remainder division. In decimal division, repeating decimal quotients are displayed with a line over the repeating digits. Up to twelve digits may be used in both the dividend and the divisor.

All of the action occurs on one screen making it very simple to use. Note that the screen containing the solved division problem scrolls, both up and down as well as side to side, so that all of the steps of a longer division problem can be seen.
